3. Verification Data
Phone and email verification may be handled through service providers such as Twilio or email providers. Verification codes are used to confirm account access and reduce fraud. By requesting a code, you authorize MooterRent.com and its providers to process the destination phone number or email for verification.
4. Merchant Documents
Merchants may be required to upload logos, commercial license documents, vehicle license documents, vehicle photos, and related business information. These documents are used for review, fraud prevention, compliance, moderation, customer trust, and platform administration. Sensitive documents may be stored in restricted storage and shown only to authorized staff.
5. Leads and Contact Sharing
When a visitor presses Call, WhatsApp, or Location on a listing, MooterRent.com may record the action and share the visitor's name, phone, email, and lead source with the merchant who owns the listing. This is necessary so the merchant can respond to the visitor's rental interest and so merchants can see performance analytics.
6. How We Use Data
We use data to operate accounts, display listings, verify users, review merchants and cars, provide support, notify admins, prevent abuse, calculate analytics, improve search and ranking, secure the platform, enforce Terms, comply with legal obligations, and communicate service updates.
7. Legal Basis and Consent
Where required by applicable law, we rely on consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, and user requests. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, but this may limit access to features that require the data.
8. Cookies and Sessions

Users must keep account, merchant, vehicle, and contact information accurate. MooterRent.com is not responsible for losses caused by false, outdated, or incomplete information submitted by users.
12. Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to operate the platform, keep business records, support users, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce Terms, comply with legal obligations, and maintain audit trails. Some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including access controls, restricted document routes, CSRF protection, authentication, and storage separation where practical. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their own devices, phone numbers, email accounts, and passwords.
14. International Processing
